There’s probably no place more desirable to golf in the world than Hawaii. Not only are the golf courses first class, but the island experience is second to none in the world. Safe and friendly, you will be welcomed with a smile and, of course, a lei greeting.

Not many places in the world can lay claim to as many great golf courses as Hawaii. It’s no coincidence that the first PGA Tour event of the year is held annually on Maui at the Plantation Course in Kapalua. This area boasts several world class golf courses such as The Bay, The Village, and The Plantation. The Plantation Course is the home of the Mercedes Open, which is held each year as the opening event of the PGA Tour. If that is not enough, the island of Maui has many more, especially in Wailea.

Many people consider Hawaii a paradise in the sea and it’s hard to argue. Sandy beaches, friendly people, and great golf make it one of the most desirable vacation spots on the planet. The island is especially attractive to honeymooners and singles. There is no more romantic place on this beautiful planet.

One of the most unique things in the sport of golf is the opportunity to play the same golf courses that the professional golfers play. Hawaii is no different and anyone can play the Plantation Course as long as they are willing to pay the green fees. It is also a great venue to watch a PGA Tour event, a rare chance to get close and watch the talents of Tiger Woods, John Daly, and Vijay Singh.

The next time you are thinking about a great vacation destination, Hawaii should be considered, especially if you are a golfer. Even if you are not a golfer, you will most definitely have a great time exploring the beaches and friendly people during our visit.
